Chris Moran

Chris Moran is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in network and systems engineering. Currently serving as a Senior Manager for IT Engineering at Tenable since December 2015, Chris leads a cross-functional team, focusing on personnel management and performance improvements. Previous roles include Manager of System Operations and Lead Network Engineer at Tenable, where Chris successfully migrated datacenters and transitioned to modern network solutions. Prior to Tenable, Chris held senior engineering positions at Merkle and Tenable Network Security, where significant infrastructure upgrades were implemented. Chris began a career in networking as a Network Engineer at Chevy Chase Bank and has experience in telecommunications from roles at DocuTech and Millennium Digital Media. Chris holds a Bachelor of Science in CyberSecurity from the University of Maryland Global Campus.
