Azril Rahim

Azril Rahim is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in various high-level positions across multiple organizations. Currently serving as a Senior Manager at Tenaga Nasional Berhad since June 2017, Azril leads the Cyber Threat Intelligence Management unit, focusing on strategic cybersecurity threat intelligence and risk management. Prior to this role, Azril held the position of Senior Security Researcher at Infoblox, where the emphasis was on analyzing and reverse engineering malware APTs. Azril has also managed the Global Response Center at IMPACT and contributed as a Senior Researcher at MIMOS Berhad, leading the development of an open-source computer forensics tool. Previous experience includes roles as a Senior Software Engineer at Sapura Secured Technologies and an Information Security Engineer at the University of Missouri System. Azril holds a Post Graduate degree in Cybersecurity from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and two Bachelor of Science degrees from the University of Missouri-Saint Louis in Operation Management and Computer Science. Educational background also includes GCE O Level in Science from The Malay College Kuala Kangsar.
