Ir. Mohd Thushan Abdul Majid

Ir. Mohd Thushan Abdul Majid currently serves as the Head of Business Strategy & Performance in the Grid Division at Tenaga Nasional Berhad since February 2020. In addition to this role, Mohd Thushan has held the position of Chief Operating Officer at GMR Tenaga O&M Pvt. Ltd. since July 2018 and Deputy COO of GMR Energy Limited since July 2017 through secondment from Tenaga Nasional Berhad. Mohd Thushan's extensive career at Tenaga Nasional Berhad spanned from August 1996 to July 2017, where various roles included Regional Manager for Asset Development in the Transmission Division and State Manager for Kuala Lumpur. Mohd Thushan holds an Engineer's Degree in Electrical Power Systems from the University of Missouri-Columbia and a Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering from UNITEN. Education also includes completion of secondary schooling at B.M. High School and Sekolah Dato' Abdul Razak.
