Venu Margabandu

Venu Margabandu has an extensive work experience spanning over three decades in the technology industry. Venu started their career at Cisco Systems in 1995 as a Software Engineer and held various managerial roles, including Program Manager and Manager of Software. In 2009, they joined Juniper Networks as a Manager and later moved to Ericsson as a Senior Manager. In 2012, they returned to Juniper Networks as a Senior Manager. In 2014, they joined Avaya as a Senior Technical Manager and then moved to Extreme Networks in 2017 as a Senior Engineering Manager. After that, they worked at HID Global as a Senior Engineering Manager and progressed to become the Director of Engineering and site leader. In 2020, they joined Tenant Inc. as the Senior Director of Engineering, and in 2023, they assumed the role of Member of the Board of Directors at Qualyon Cognitive Intelligence. Throughout their career, Venu Margabandu has gained extensive experience in engineering management, technical leadership, and executive roles in the technology sector.

Venu Margabandu obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree from the Institute of Product Leadership in the year 2017. In 1994-1995, Venu worked as a Project Assistant at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc). Venu also holds a Master of Computer Applications (MCA) degree from the University of Mysore and a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree from Government College of Technology, Coimbatore.

In addition to these educational qualifications, Venu Margabandu has obtained a certification in Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from (ISC)² in September 2021.
