Andres Diaz Velez

Andres Diaz Velez has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Andres started their career at Grupo Techint as a Financial Accounting Analyst, where they were responsible for analyzing and controlling financial investment portfolios and consolidating financial statements. Andres then joined Siderca S.A.I.C. as a Commercial Network Controller, where they implemented managerial reporting for the DST commercial network and supervised the audited financial statements of the network's companies. Later, they worked at Ternium as an Administration and Logistics Manager, overseeing the administration and logistics department of Techintrade Corp and leading the implementation of SAP for the company's commercial network. Andres then joined Exiros as a Financial and Administrative Manager, where they managed accounting and reporting, outsourced administrative processes, and incorporated commercial companies. Currently, they are working at Tenaris, first as a Finance and Administration Manager, responsible for the administration and finance of non-industrial companies, and then as a Senior Supply Chain Manager, overseeing the foreign trade department and managing dispatches, billing, and stock control. Andres is currently the Director of Global Business Services, managing supply chain service centers and driving automation and digitalization of supply chain administrative processes, as well as being a project manager for the implementation of SAP TM. Their work experience showcases their expertise in finance, administration, supply chain management, and project management.

Andres Diaz Velez completed a PAD - Programa de Alta Dirección in Dirección de Empresas at Universidad de Montevideo in 2016. Prior to that, they obtained a degree in Contador Publico with a focus on Contabilidad y finanzas from Universidad Nacional de La Plata between 1991 and 1996.
