Mercedes Iglesias

Mercedes Iglesias has a strong background in IT and project management. Mercedes currently works at Tenaris as the Global IT Director, a role they have held since March 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Global IT Senior Manager at Tenaris from September 2019 to February 2023. Before joining Tenaris, Mercedes held various positions at the company, including IT Process & Applications Manager, IT Business Manager, IT Coordinator, and Senior Analyst, spanning from 2010 to 2019. Mercedes also has experience at Techint as a Project Manager from 2003 to 2010, at EDS on the Peugeot (PSA) Project from 2002 to 2003, at HSBC on IT Non-Banking Projects from 2001 to 2002, and at Lucent Technologies in Project Management from 2000 to 2001.

Mercedes Iglesias completed their education with a Bachelor's degree in Systems from Universidad Centro de Altos Estudios en Ciencias Exactas (Universidad CAECE) in the years 1999 to 2003. Mercedes then pursued a Postgraduate degree in Project Management (PMP) from Pontificia Universidad Católica Argentina 'Santa María de los Buenos Aires' in 2010. In 2014, Mercedes participated in a Management Development Program at IAE Business School. Currently, they are enrolled in the Advanced Management Program at Rice Business - Jones Graduate School of Business, starting in 2023.
