Lori Shields

Lori Shields is a seasoned professional in corporate communications and public relations with extensive experience across various industries. Currently serving as Sr. Manager of Corporate Communications & Public Relations at Tenaska since February 2023, Shields previously held the role of Vice President of Communications & Leadership Development at the Council Bluffs Area Chamber of Commerce for nearly 15 years, where responsibilities included implementing comprehensive marketing strategies and managing community leadership programs. Prior experience includes positions as Marketing Manager at Pamida, Marketing Analyst at Mutual of Omaha, Director of Marketing and Public Relations at Durham Western Heritage Museum, and Group Marketing Manager at General Growth Properties, where Shields effectively managed substantial marketing budgets and developed strategic communication plans. Lori Shields holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing from the University of Nebraska at Kearney.
