Jane Yang, PhD, currently serves as the Nonclinical and Discovery Lead on a Development Candidate at Tenaya Therapeutics since February 2020. Prior to this role, Yang held positions as Early Discovery and Project Leader at MyoKardia, where a focus on sarcomere biology and early discovery research was emphasized, and as a Visiting Scientist at Genentech, where new mechanisms of action for small molecule inhibitors were explored. Earlier experiences include a Research Scientist role at Stanford University, a Postdoctoral Fellow at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, and a Staff Scientist at Maxygen. Academic credentials include a PhD in Microbiology from the University of California, Davis, an MS in Plant Virology from the University of Minnesota, and a BS in Plant Pathology from China Agricultural University.
