Natalia Paterson-Sonicheva has extensive work experience in the medical field. Natalia is currently employed at Tenaya Therapeutics as a Senior Director of Medical Affairs since May 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Bristol Myers Squibb as the Medical Director WW Bristol Myers Squibb from December 2020 to May 2022. Before that, they served as the Regional Medical Lead for Europe at MyoKardia from September 2020 to December 2020.

From 2014 to 2020, Natalia worked at Health In Code, S.L. as a Cardiologist and the Medical Affairs & Commercial Area Manager for the UK, Italy, Russia, and Ukraine. Natalia'sresponsibilities included developing national and international KOL networks in the field of cardio-genetics, participating in annual ESC Working group congresses, and negotiating with private investors and government stakeholders to create a national reference center for genetics. Natalia also collaborated with leading National Cardiology Institutions and co-founded the National Cardiogenetic Society, organizing the first International Cardiogenetic congress in Moscow.

From 2009 to 2014, Natalia worked at AstraZeneca as a Market Access Manager, where they developed and implemented market access strategies for key products and conducted campaigns to raise awareness of cholesterol-related conditions and Acute Coronary Syndrome. Natalia also participated in cross-departmental partnerships and led projects with stakeholders to shape the market environment.

Before that, Natalia worked at Pfizer as a Market Access Manager from November 2008 to June 2009, and at Genzyme as a Medical, Marketing & Market Access Manager in the Genetics Business Unit from June 2006 to November 2008. At Genzyme, they successfully included Gaucher Disease therapy in the National Government Reimbursement program and implemented a diagnostic project that led to the identification and treatment of more patients with Gaucher Disease.

Natalia's career started at Rompharma, where they worked as a Regional Manager from January 2004 to June 2006.

Natalia Paterson-Sonicheva holds a degree in medicine from Smolensk State Medical Academy, where they specialized in general practice. Natalia also attended the Russian State University of Management, specifically the Russian-Holland University RIMA Marketing faculty, where they studied various aspects of marketing like planning, media planning, press and radio advertising, and marketing management. Additionally, they earned a degree as a cardiologist from the First Moscow State Medical University.
