Damian Ngiam

Damian Ngiam currently serves as the Head of Trust & Safety for Public Affairs & Global Policy at Tencent, focusing on building and scaling Trust & Safety across business groups including Games, WeChat, Cloud, and Emerging AI Products. Previously, at ByteDance, Damian led global incident management programs and developed safety program policies while serving in various roles including Global Incident Management Policy & Operations Program Lead. Earlier experience includes positions at Meta, where user safety was upheld across the Asia-Pacific region, and Airbnb, where efforts centered on user identity verification and fraud prevention. Damian began military service as a Leopard Tank Platoon Commander in the Singapore Armed Forces, overseeing tactical operations. Academic credentials include an Executive MBA from Quantic School of Business and Technology and a Bachelor of Business Management from RMIT University.
