Nikolai Bailo has a diverse work experience in the field of blockchain and web development, spanning over several companies. Nikolai started their career at Segodnya Multimedia as a System Programmer, where they worked on frontend and backend support for a news portal. Nikolai then joined Coloris as a Software Engineer, focusing on developing frontend web applications. At Eventstars Worldwide, they worked as a Full-stack Developer.
In 2016, Nikolai joined Esportsfield as a Full Stack Web Developer, where they designed applications architecture and developed web app API using Node.js and Express framework. Nikolai also mentored junior developers during their tenure. Nikolai later joined One Sock Team as a Full Stack Engineer, where they worked on blockchain and web development projects, including the development of an automated blockchain assets investment platform.
In 2017, Nikolai joined MultisigLab as a Full Stack Blockchain Engineer and Tech Lead. Nikolai then moved to Pragma in 2019, where they worked as a Senior Solidity Engineer, focusing on Ethereum smart contracts development and audit for DeFi protocols and other projects.
In the same year, Nikolai also worked at Beemster Team as a Cryptocurrency Solution Architect, where they developed a full-featured crypto platform with various digital currency services, a crypto exchange, and a blockchain charity foundation. Nikolai also implemented payments through ZkSync sidechain with a mobile app and provided architecture design for the full network.
Most recently, Nikolai joined Fintech Holding in 2020 as a Blockchain Lead, responsible for building and owning blockchain application layer services, on-chain smart contracts, and wallet applications. Nikolai delivered blockchain services within specific timeframes and maintained knowledge of current and emerging technology developments.
In 2022, Nikolai will be starting a new role as the Chief Technology Officer at Tencoins.
Nikolai Bailo earned a Bachelor's degree in Finance and Credit from Donetsk National Technical University in 2008-2011. Nikolai then pursued two Master's degrees, one in Computer Engineering and another in Innovation Management, both from Donetsk National Technical University. Nikolai completed the Master's degrees in 2007-2013 and 2011-2013 respectively.
