Michael Konopczynski

Michael Konopczynski has extensive work experience in the oil and gas industry. Michael started their career in 1981 with Shell, where they held various roles including Production Engineer and Senior Engineer. Michael then worked at Petroleum Development Oman as a Senior Production Technologist, responsible for gas field development planning and execution. In 2001, they joined WellDynamics Inc. as the VP of Technology and Marketing, leading a large team in research and development, engineering, and marketing. Michael later moved to Halliburton, where they held positions including Director of Technology and Director of Reservoir Solutions, leading teams and driving revenue growth through the implementation of advanced completion technologies. Finally, they worked at K-Ski Petroleum Tech LLC as a Principal Consultant, before joining Tendeka as the Director of Subsurface Engineering. Overall, Michael has a wealth of experience in reservoir engineering, technology development, marketing, and business development within the oil and gas industry.

Michael Konopczynski obtained a BASc degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Toronto from 1977 to 1981. Michael also has additional certifications, including a Professional Engineer certification from The Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA) in 1984, a 25 Year Member certification from the Society of Petroleum Engineers in 1990, and a Foundations of Programming: Object-Oriented Design certification from lynda.com in 2015.
