Donna Rouviere Anderson has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Donna Rouviere is currently working as a UX Writer at Tendo since February 2022. Prior to that, they founded and ran a historical photo retouching and research company called Ancestor Images from 1998 to 2006. During this time, they retouched and researched numerous historical photographs and authored historical photo-illustrated books for clients.

Before starting Ancestor Images, Donna worked as a Journalist and Photo Researcher for international publications such as the Associated Press, Time magazine, the London Times, the Toronto Globe and Mail, and the Los Angeles Times. Donna Rouviere spent six years as a reporter, foreign news editor, and foreign correspondent for the Associated Press, with assignments in New York City and Beijing, China. In Beijing, they also managed the office of Time magazine photojournalist Forrest Anderson, handling research, organization, and management of international news photo assignments and stock photos.

Prior to their journalism career, Donna worked as a Creative Director at Rouviere Media starting in November 2006. In this role, they were responsible for designing and project managing iOS apps from conception to the App Store. Donna Rouviere also designed companion marketing materials and websites and contributed to a team project for producing a suite of productivity apps. Donna Rouviere utilized tools such as XD, Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Office in their work.

Donna Rouviere Anderson holds a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from Brigham Young University. Donna Rouviere also obtained a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Public/Applied History from North Carolina State University.
