Contract Manager

Qualification and Requirements:

• HND or Bachelor Degree in Engineering Discipline or equivalent.

• Ten (10) years’ experience in project management, turnaround and / or maintenance management within the oil and gas industry

• Proven experience in supervising and leading teams including Management of Change process

• Fully conversant with latest planning techniques and have a good working knowledge of all legal and statutory requirements.

• Must be able to have good/ excellent verbal and written communication skills including ability to effectively communicate within the organization and with external Clients/Customers.

• Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel and Outlook).

• Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude and providing good quality service.

• Able to carry out tasks/assignments allocated to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines and standard accepted practices.

• Proactive, flexible and decisive, ability to be innovative and challenging in line with TENDRILL’s Core Mission and Values.

• Ability to work on own initiative; self-motivated, willingness to learn and adapt.

Training and Capabilities:

• Incident Investigation Techniques/Skills.

• Senior Management Site Visit Engagement Skills.

• Supervising for Safety (SFS) and Worksite Hazard Management (WHM).

• Facilitation and Plant Maintenance Skills.

• Efficient Planning and Implementation Skills.

• Proven capability to manage and execute similar contracts in an oil and gas environment.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• To represents the Contractor on site.

• To administer all aspects of the Contract.

• To be responsible for executing all Scope carried out under the Contract.

• To be responsible for all Contractor labour recruitment & welfare

• To be responsible for the overheads (wages) of the contractor organisation

• To be responsible for complying with the Contract conditions.

• To be responsible to manage the MMT organisation

• To be accountable for contractor performance in per Scorecard

• To be accountable for management of change in Contract deviations

• To be accountable for the compliances to the applicable law
