Tenement Museum
Cara-Lynne Thomas is an experienced educator with a strong background in museum education and program evaluation. Currently serving as an Educator at the Lower East Side Tenement Museum since November 2018, Cara-Lynne previously worked as an Evaluation Research Assistant at Gaylen Moore Program Evaluation Services from June 2016 to September 2022, where responsibilities included designing evaluation instruments, analyzing data, and presenting findings to stakeholders. Cara-Lynne also held roles at the American Museum of Natural History and Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum, focusing on interactive learning experiences, teaching K-12 programs, and enhancing museum accessibility. Educational qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Museum Education from Bank Street College of Education and a Master's Degree in Classical, Ancient Mediterranean and Near Eastern Studies and Archaeology from Tufts University, alongside a Bachelor's Degree in Anthropology and Classical Archaeology from The University of Texas at Austin.
