Sophie Carter

Sophie Carter is an educator currently leading tours at the Tenement Museum, focusing on the historical and cultural context of immigration and class in New York City's Lower East Side. Previously, Sophie worked as a Content Assistant at Mina Le, conducting historical research and producing podcasts, as well as serving as an Executive & Development Assistant at the Oregon Historical Society, where responsibilities included liaising with stakeholders and managing fundraising events. Additional experience includes roles as a Project Assistant and Administrative Assistant, providing organizational support and maintaining records for various organizations. Sophie holds a Bachelor's degree in History from the University of Washington.
