Alok Gahrotra

Alok Gahrotra is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in advisory services and investment, currently serving as Partner and Portfolio Lead Advisory Services at Deloitte UK since February 2011. Gahrotra leads sell-side and buy-side teams on loan portfolio transactions across various asset classes, focusing on commercial and consumer debt in the UK, Ireland, and continental Europe, while also managing India's coverage for UK-based clients in distressed assets. Prior roles include Vice President in the International Special Situations Group at Merrill Lynch, where Gahrotra focused on non-performing loans in Europe and Asia, and Manager at Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu, where Gahrotra contributed to significant financial restructuring efforts. Early career experience includes an Associate position at Arthur Andersen, contributing to top-ranking M&A advisory projects in India. Gahrotra holds an MBA in Finance and Private Equity from London Business School and has two additional MBA degrees from the University of Mumbai and Sydenham College.
