Tenet3® is seeking a Senior Software Engineer that is familiar with game development concepts to join our team in Ohio. As a Software Engineer, you will join a team responsible for building a visually-exciting, high-performing, intuitive web application that pushes the boundaries of what web browsers to enable users to solve challenging security problems.

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop core features using Pixi.JS and WebGL for hardware-accelerated, real-time interactivity.
  • Work with real-time rendering paradigms including Sprites. RenderTextures, and an Entity Component System (ECS) to maintain user responsiveness at or above 30 FPS
  • Develop, test, enhance, debug, and implement software
  • Collaborate with the design and project teams on product specifications
  • Participate in peer reviews of code written by other developers
  • Troubleshoot production problems related to software applications
  • Assist in the evaluation and recommendation of application software packages
  • Assist in preparing estimates for implementing new system enhancements

Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with Pixi.JS, or other game engines such as Unity, Godot or Bevy
  • Exposure to real-time technologies such as WebGL, Shaders, Sprite-batching, etc
  • Experience developing WebAssembly (WASM) libraries
  • 5 + years of Production Software Engineering Experience Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or a similar discipline
  • Ability to take ownership of features and stories and drive them through from discovery to release
  • Ability to clearly and effectively communicate design processes, ideas, and solutions to teams and clients
  • Experience interacting with APIs (REST, SOAP or GraphQL)
  • Experience with AWS is preferred
  • Eligibility to establish and maintain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance

Location

Hybrid work location possible. Located within 4 hour driving distance of Dayton, Ohio. Paid relocation available to the Dayton region.
