Nayeem Ahmed

Nayeem Ahmed has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and companies. Nayeem started their career in 2002 at SVT Associates, Inc., where they worked as a Product Engineer and Research and Development Engineer. Their responsibilities included designing, modeling, assembling, and testing fully automatic RF plasma deposition units for Molecular Beam Epitaxy (MBE) systems. Nayeem also provided manuals and after-sales support to customers.

In 2005, Nayeem joined Quality Research, Development, and Consulting as a Research Engineer. Nayeem served as the Project Leader for the Intelligently Vibrating Air Filter (IVAF), where they led a team in researching and developing IVAF for a High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle (HMMWV). Nayeem conducted literature and patent searches, designed and fabricated an automatic dust input mechanism, and successfully completed the project.

Nayeem then moved to Amano McGann, Inc. in 2006, where they held several roles. As a Systems Engineer, Team Lead, they characterized and recommended COTS System on Module (SOM) for a project and designed a custom baseboard for the SOM with additional functionalities. Nayeem also authored various protocol documents for controller-to-controller and device-to-server communications.

In 2014, Nayeem was promoted to the position of Systems Engineering Manager at Amano McGann, Inc. Nayeem led a team of Firmware/Software Developers in achieving a secure 2D barcode-based parking solution across the enterprise. Nayeem worked with the Product Owner (PO) in an Agile setting to prioritize feature development and maximize Return on Investment (ROI).

Since 2019, Nayeem has been working at Tennant Company as a Principal Systems and Data Architect. Their responsibilities include designing and developing scalable cloud solutions, enhancing current platforms, and unlocking business insights. Nayeem previously held the role of Senior Systems Architect at the company.
