Bob Rebandt

Engineering Director Test Operations at Tenneco

Bob Rebandt has extensive work experience in various engineering roles. Bob started their career at Sheller Globe Corporation as a Senior Acoustic Engineer from 1987 to 1989. Bob then joined Ford Motor Company in 1989 and held multiple positions, including Test Development Engineer, Powertrain Noise and Vibration Technical Specialist, Supervisor of Core and Advanced Powertrain NVH Technology, Supervisor of Vehicle Program Powertrain Noise and Vibration, Manager of Powertrain Installation Components and NVH, Powertrain Integration Manager, and Manager of Research & Advanced Powertrain NVH & CAE. Bob worked at Ford Motor Company until 2007. After that, they worked at Roush Industries as a Powertrain Program Manager from 2007 to 2009. Bob then joined Exedy-Dynax America Corporation as a Senior Design Manager from 2009 to 2011 and later as the Director of Engineering from 2011 to 2013. Currently, they are working at Tenneco as the Chief Engineer - CAE, Testing, Product Validation from 2013 to the present, where they have also held positions such as Chief Engineer Product Applications, Global Chief Engineer Program Engineering, and Engineering Director Test Operations.

Bob Rebandt received their Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) with a specialization in Vibration and Noise Control from Michigan Technological University in the years 1978 to 1983. In 1986, they attended an Intensive Short Course in Signal Analysis at Purdue University.
