Snehasis Pal

Snehasis Pal has a strong work history with experience in various design and engineering roles. Snehasis began their career as a Vocational Trainee at Hindustan Aeronautics Limited, where they gained experience working with milling machines. Snehasis then worked as a Design Engineer at PDEPL, where they were responsible for 3D and 2D modifications of components using CATIA V5.

Pal then joined CSM Software as a Project Engineer, where they worked on projects for clients such as GENERAL MOTORS, TOYOTA, CHRYSLER, FORD, SAIC, KUBOTA, JOHN DEERE, AND NISSAN. Snehasis had experience in project planning and utilized SAP-PLM/PDM for checking Bill of Materials (BOMs).

After that, Pal joined Tenneco Inc. as a Sr. Design Engineer, coordinating with System Engineers to carry out APQP and PPAP for new products. Snehasis then progressed to the role of Designer II, where they coordinated with System Engineers for PLM data management and worked on projects for Tenneco clients such as MG Motor India, PSA India, Volkswagen AG, Ford, and Kia.

Pal then became a Lead Designer at Tenneco Inc., supervising a team of 12 designers and coordinating with the Regional Design Lead for monthly Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and training. Currently, they hold the position of India Regional Lead - Design and Development at Tenneco Inc., where they lead the Regional Design Teams in terms of resource management, budgeting, prioritization, innovation/standardization implementation, and collaboration between design teams within the region.

Snehasis Pal has a diverse and extensive education history. In 2022, they completed a Certificate Programme in Data Science & Machine Learning at the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. Prior to that, from 2013 to 2015, they pursued a Master of Technology (M.Tech.) degree in Machine Design at Christ University, Bangalore. Snehasis obtained their Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from SRM University between 2008 and 2012. Snehasis also completed their secondary education with a focus on Mathematics and Computer Science, obtaining their XII certification from Kendriya Vidyalaya in 2008, and their X certification from the same institution in 2006. In addition to their formal education, Snehasis has obtained various certifications, including "DFMEA Management Process Awareness Training" from Tenneco in 2020 and "PROJECT MANAGEMENT" from MSME-Technology Development Centre in Agra in 2019. Snehasis has also completed numerous LinkedIn courses on topics such as data analysis, critical thinking, and leadership.
