Keith Sanford

Keith Sanford has had two major work experiences. Keith started their career at First Tennessee Bank in 1980 and worked there until 2016, holding the role of Market President. In 2016, they joined the Tennessee Aquarium as President and CEO, a position they currently hold.

Keith Sanford attended Virginia Episcopal School from 1972 to 1976, where they completed their high school education. Keith then studied Commerce at Washington and Lee University from 1976 to 1980, earning a Bachelor of Science degree. Following their undergraduate studies, Keith attended the Southeastern School of Banking from 1984 to 1985. Keith later enrolled in the Graduate School of Banking of the South from 1986 to 1988, although no specific degree or field of study is provided for these two programs.
