Marc Blakey has extensive work experience in the field of medical physics and treatment planning. Marc has held various roles in different companies throughout their career. In 2008, they started working as a Medical Physicist at Tennova Healthcare, where they stayed until 2013. From 2013 to 2015, they worked as a Senior Medical Physicist at Provision Center for Proton Therapy. Marc then moved on to become the Medical Physics Manager at Provision Cares Proton Therapy Center from 2015 to 2018. From 2018 to 2022, they served as the Director of Medical Physics at Provision CARES Proton Therapy - Nashville. In 2020, they joined Provision Healthcare as the Vice President of Medical Physics & Treatment Planning, a role they currently hold. In 2023, they will be transitioning to Tennessee Oncology as the VP of Medical Physics and Treatment Planning.
Marc Blakey obtained a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Ball State University from 2001 to 2006. Marc then pursued a Master's degree in Medical Physics at Vanderbilt University from 2006 to 2008.
