Kim Appeldoorn is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in strategic consulting and talent development. Currently serving as a Senior Strategic Consultant and HR Business Advisor at the Tennessee Valley Authority since July 2022, Kim previously held roles at EPB as a Talent & Development Specialist and Talent Development and eLearning Specialist from April 2016 to July 2022. Earlier experience includes a position as a Talent Development Associate at Thinking Media from February 2015 to April 2016 and as a Customer Service Team Lead at Barnes & Noble, Inc. from April 2012 to February 2015. Kim holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and completed continuing education in Human Resources at Cornell University, along with training from Dale Carnegie Training.
