Rebecca Travis

Rebecca Travis, P.E., has over 29 years of experience in the electrical engineering field, currently serving as a Principal Electrical/I&C Design Engineer at the Tennessee Valley Authority since June 1994. Previously, Rebecca held positions including Nuclear Engineer - Licensing Specialist and Senior Electrical Engineer, contributing to significant projects such as the replacement of SQN’s Main Bank Transformers and overseeing pre-tanking inspections and testing. Prior to this role, Rebecca worked as a Student Engineer at Kentucky Utilities from May 1993 to May 1994, where responsibilities included performing load flow and fault studies on electrical distribution lines. Rebecca obtained a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Kentucky in 1994.
