Henk Sanders

Henk Sanders has extensive experience in spatial and environmental planning, with a career spanning over three decades. Since 2002, Henk has held several positions at TenneT TSO B.V., including roles as Vertrouwenspersoon, Adviseur ruimtelijke ordening en milieu for large projects in the northern area, Advisor asset owner corporate, and strategist for spatial and environmental planning. Prior to TenneT, Henk worked at ProRail from 1991 to 2002, focusing on major railway projects, permit acquisition, and stakeholder engagement, including work on the EIA for significant transport routes. Henk's career began at SEP from 1988 to 1991, contributing to the expansion of the national grid through major projects. Henk holds a drs degree in Economical Geography and Spatial Planning from Radboud University and has additional education from Wageningen University & Research.
