Mark Renneson has a diverse work experience in the sports and education industry. Mark is currently the Head of Pickleball Coaching Education at Tennis Canada, starting in August 2021. Prior to this, Mark founded Third Shot Sports in 2014, which offers pickleball training and instructor development workshops. In 2018, they also founded Pickleball Coaching International, providing coaching resources and certification for pickleball coaches. Additionally, Mark has experience as a teacher at Simcoe County District School Board and Alcuin College. Mark has also worked as a Senior Tennis Professional at the University of British Columbia, where they taught private and group lessons and coordinated summer tennis camps. Moreover, Mark worked as an Instructor Course Facilitator at Tennis Canada, training and assessing prospective tennis instructors. Mark also served as the Tennis Director at The Ojibway Club, where they planned and implemented all tennis programs and managed staff. Earlier in their career, Mark worked as a Tennis Professional at North Vancouver Recreation Commission.
Mark Renneson completed their Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) degree in Math and Science Specialist at The University of British Columbia from 2010 to 2012. Mark also holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Philosophy from the University of Toronto.
In terms of additional certifications, Mark obtained their Teacher qualification from the Ontario College of Teachers in October 2014. Mark also holds a Teacher (Professional), Category 6 certification from the Teacher Qualification Service in British Columbia obtained in April 2013.
