Juan Andrés Alfaro

Juan Andrés Alfaro has 14 years of work experience in various roles. Juan Andrés currently works at Tenpo as the Head of Financial Planning & Analysis, where they lead the financial planning, management control, and treasury team. Juan Andrés is responsible for generating timely analysis and indicators to support the commercial management of different business lines. Prior to Tenpo, Juan worked at Itaú Chile as the Head of Payments Management Department, where they managed the analysis and consolidation of commercial management indicators for payments products. Juan Andrés also led the development, automation, and implementation of management control procedures to support the bank's commercial strategy. Before Itaú Chile, Juan worked at LATAM Airlines, where they held two roles. First, as the Chief of Profit and Loss Statements, they led a team of four people and was responsible for accounting closure, consolidation, analysis, and publication of financial statements. Second, as a Senior Cost Analyst, they supported business areas in cost control and analysis, prepared reports and ad-hoc analysis for management, and prepared long-term projections and budgets at a corporate level. Earlier in their career, Juan had professional practice experiences at EuroAmerica, Komatsu Cummins Chile S.A., and Grupo Gtd, where they gained practical knowledge in financial studies, operations, and sales support, respectively.

Juan Andrés Alfaro completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Administration and General Business Management from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile in 2016-2017. Prior to that, they pursued their undergraduate studies at Universidad de Chile from 2003 to 2010, earning a degree in Civil Industrial Engineering.
