Vicente Carrasco

Vicente Carrasco has a diverse work experience in the field of data and analytics. Vicente currently holds the position of Head of Data & Analytics at Tenpo, starting in April 2022. Prior to that, they founded their own company, Leprcon, in May 2022, which they operated until April 2023.

Before their entrepreneurial endeavor, Carrasco worked at COPEC S.A. from August 2019 to April 2022. Vicente held the roles of Advanced Analytics & Data Science Lead, where they developed analytical solutions for internal clients, and Senior Data Scientist, where they worked on end-to-end analytical solutions using AWS ecosystem modules and scripting languages such as Python, Spark, and Scala.

From September 2018 to August 2019, Carrasco worked at Cencosud S.A. as a Data Scientist. In this role, they collaborated with various teams and stakeholders to research and develop analytics software solutions for workforce efficiency in Chile and storage supply management in Colombia, using Microsoft Azure architecture.

Carrasco also gained experience as an Operational Research Intern at LATAM Airlines from March 2018 to July 2018, and as an Assistant Teacher at Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez from August 2016 to December 2017, where they provided support in optimization and modeling workshops.

Vicente Carrasco completed their education history in a chronological manner. Vicente started their education in 2013 at the Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez, where they pursued Industrial Engineering with a minor in IT.
