Ben Gorrill

Ben Gorrill is a Principal Engineer and Team Leader at Tensar, a division of CMC, since January 2021, managing the Highways and Temporary Works design team and overseeing Level 3 design schemes, particularly focusing on working platforms and pavements. Prior to this role, Ben was a Senior Design Engineer, leading a team in the design of various schemes utilizing in-house and specialized software. With extensive experience that includes positions at MGF as a Senior Design Engineer, where Ben led a Geotechnical Group, and roles at WSP in the UK & Ireland, Ben has contributed to notable projects such as the East West Rail and M6 Lune Gorge. Ben began a career in engineering after earning an MEng in Civil Engineering from The University of Manchester in 2012.
