Prajwol Tamrakar

Prajwol Tamrakar, Ph.D., P.E., currently serves as Application Technology Manager at Tensar, a division of CMC, starting in August 2017. Previously, Prajwol held the position of PhD Research Associate at The University of Texas at El Paso from August 2013 to August 2017, and completed a fellowship with the International Road Federation in January 2015. Additional experience includes roles as Senior Engineer at Nexus Network (August 2011 - July 2013), Research Assistant and Research Engineer at the University of Nevada Las Vegas and Desert Research Institute respectively, Civil (Structural) Engineer for the Government of Nepal, and Civil (Structural) Engineer at Astra Development Network Pvt Ltd. Prajwol earned a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering with a focus on Transportation and Geophysics from The University of Texas at El Paso, a Master's Degree in Civil Engineering focused on Geotechnical Engineering and Geophysics from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas, and a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering with majors in Earthquake Engineering and Soil Bio-engineering from Tribhuvan University, IOE, Pulchowk Campus.
