Senior UX And Human Factors Engineer at Tensentric

Adam Czibur has worked in the Human Factors field since 2013. Adam began as a Biomechanics Lab Research Assistant at Penn State University, where they worked under Dr. Stephen Piazza and conducted research on rotator-cuff injury and biomechanical phenomenon focused on baseball pitchers. In 2016, they moved to the University of Pittsburgh Innovation Institute as an Enterprise Associate, where they consulted with students and professors to drive refinement and application of filed patents. From 2017 to 2021, Adam worked at Bayer Pharmaceuticals as a Senior Human Factors Engineer and Human Factors Engineer, where they served as a Human Factors lead for several medical devices and software projects. Adam planned HF activities, developed usability evaluation protocols, moderated evaluations, and wrote technical reports for medical device HF Files. In 2021, Adam joined Pfizer as a Senior Human Factors Design Validation Engineer. Most recently, they began working at Tensentric in 2022 as a UX and Human Factors Engineer.

Adam Czibur obtained a Master's of Science in Bioengineering from the University of Pittsburgh in 2016 and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Kinesiology and Movement Science from Penn State University in 2014. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications from The Interaction Design Foundation, including Design Thinking (2021), Psychology of Interaction Design (2020), How to Create Intuitive Products by Imitating Physicality (2018), and Conducting Usability Testing (2018).
