Gary Martz

Gary Martz currently serves as the Head of IP Ecosystem Strategy, RISC-V at Tenstorrent and has held an advisory role on the Industrial & Systems Engineering Executive Advisory Board at the University of Washington since 2019. Previously, Gary was a Board Member for both RISC-V International and RISE from July 2023 to September 2025. Gary's extensive experience at Intel Corporation from July 1995 to July 2025 included roles as Sr. Director for Corporate Strategy and Ventures, Sr. Director of Intel Foundry Services focused on RISC-V initiatives, and Sr. Director in Industrial IoT Standards. Furthermore, Gary has held various leadership positions in technology and standards organizations, such as Chairman of the J3311 Committee at SAE International and board memberships across several foundations and alliances. Gary holds an MBA in Entrepreneurial Studies from the University of Michigan and a BS in Industrial Engineering from the University of Washington.
