Pragnajit Datta Roy

Pragnajit Datta Roy is an accomplished engineering professional with a robust background in SoC functional simulation and modeling. Currently serving as Principal Engineer/Director at Tenstorrent since October 2025, Pragnajit previously held the position of SoC Power and Performance Architect at Aptiv, where efforts focused on performance and power analysis for state-of-the-art automotive SoCs. Prior experience includes roles at Qualcomm as Senior SoC Performance Architect, Intel Corporation as a Virtual Prototyping Consultant, and various positions at HCLTech and Cadence, contributing to ESL roadmaps, customer interactions, and product validation. Pragnajit holds a B.Tech in Electronics and Communication from Manipal Institute of Technology and an M.Tech in Electronics Design and Technology from NIELIT Aurangabad.
