Mika Rahkola

Mika Rahkola is an experienced professional in automation engineering, currently serving as the Head of Automation Engineering at Teollisuuden Voima Oyj since November 2014. Prior to this role, Mika held various positions at Metso Automation from August 2000 to October 2014, including Engineering Manager, Automation Specialist/Trainer, and Lead Engineer. Mika also worked as a Senior Automation Project Engineer at ABB Transmit Oy from July 1999 to July 2000 and held the position of Senior Application Specialist at ABB Atom Ab from July 1998 to June 1999. Earlier experience includes roles as an Automation Project Engineer at ABB Transmit Oy from March 1995 to June 1998 and as a Health Physics Supervisor/M.Sc. Thesis Worker at Imatran Voima Oy from December 1993 to February 1995. Mika Rahkola holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Energy and Power Plant Technology from LUT University and has engaged in nuclear energy research at Technische Universität Dresden in 1993.
