David Canela Lagunas has extensive experience in the gaming industry. David started their career as an LQA Tester at Electronic Arts in 2005 and then worked as a Programmer at Soluziona from 2006 to 2007. David then joined Pyro Studios as a Game Designer from 2008 to 2010. After that, they worked as a Game Designer at Gameloft from 2010 to 2011 and at Virtual Toys from 2011 to 2014.
In 2012, David became a Professor at U-tad, where they taught Master in Game Design until 2018. From 2014 to 2021, they also worked as a Game Designer at Tequila Works. In 2018, they took on the role of Project Lead at Tequila Works until 2023, when they became the Game Design Director at the same company. In 2019, David also started working as a Professor at the Game Design Master Degree program at Universidad Complutense de Madrid.
