Fran Martínez García

Fran Martínez García has a diverse work experience in the field of game design and programming.

Fran currently works at Tequila Works as a Game Designer, starting in May 2022.

Prior to that, they worked at Saber Interactive Spain as a Game Designer from January 2019 to May 2022.

Before joining Saber Interactive Spain, Fran worked at Pixowl as a Game Designer for a brief period from July to November 2018.

Fran also gained experience at Lab Cave by Fibonad, where they served as a Game Designer from September 2017 to May 2018 and as a Game Programmer from January 2016 to August 2017.

In addition, Fran worked as a Unity 3D Programmer at Evil Mind Entertainment from June to November 2015 and as a Intern at the Instituto Nacional de Tecnologías Educativas y Formación del Profesorado in May 2015.

Their earliest experience in the industry was as an Analista-Programador at Accenture where they were responsible for implementing an e-commerce solution for El Corte Inglés using Oracle ATG platform from April 2013 to September 2014.

Fran Martínez García obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from the Universidad de Huelva in 2012. During their time at the university, they also had the opportunity to study at the Czech Technical University in Prague, where they completed a project focused on analyzing social data on the web in 2011-2012. After completing their undergraduate studies, Fran pursued a Master's degree in Video Game Development at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid from 2014 to 2015.

In addition to their formal education, Fran also obtained various certifications to enhance their skillset. In 2011, they obtained the Higher Intermediate certification (CEF B2) from Kaplan International Colleges. In 2014, they completed a course on web development in HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript for WebApps, including mobile platforms like FirefoxOS, through Miríada X. In 2015, they further expanded their programming knowledge by completing a course on Beginning Game Programming with C# through Coursera.
