Product Owner, Plantpredict at Terabase Energy

Kurt Rhee has a diverse work experience in various industries. Kurt started their career as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at Implant Sciences Corp., where they contributed to the design of chamber, tube, and nozzle for Ion Mobility Spectrometry technology. At Scintillon Institute, they worked as a Biomedical Engineering Intern, performing physical characterization of microfluidics and analyzing flow chambers. Kurt then transitioned to the entertainment industry as a Stunt Performer at SAG-AFTRA. Kurt joined Sunrun as a PV Systems Designer and gradually advanced to the role of Supervisor, driving efficiency and automating calculations. After that, they joined EDF Renewables North America as a Solar Engineer, completing resource assessment and performance modeling studies. Kurt also worked as a Sr. Research and Development Engineer, utilizing spectral graph theory techniques and developing optimization models for solar and storage projects. At Nevados Engineering, Inc., Kurt was a Software Engineer who automated engineering tasks and developed unique algorithms for Nevados trackers. Currently, they hold the position of Principal Performance Engineer at Terabase Energy.

Kurt Rhee completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Nanoengineering at UC San Diego from 2010 to 2015. In September 2019, they obtained certifications in Python and Python Algorithms and SQL from TestDome.
