David Smith

David Smith is the current General Manager at Teradici Corporation. David has also served as the CEO of QuickMobile by Cvent and ELIX Wireless Charging Systems, and as the Vice President and General Manager of the Media Server Business Unit at RadiSys Corporation.

Smith began their career in 2001 as the Vice President and General Manager of the Media Server Business Unit at RadiSys Corporation. In 2012, they became the General Partner at Sea to Sky Gondola, and in 2014 they became the CEO of ELIX Wireless Charging Systems. In 2015, they became the CEO of QuickMobile by Cvent.

Under Smith's leadership, QuickMobile became the pioneer of mobile event apps for meetings, conferences, and exhibitions. The company's event apps connect attendees, distribute and manage multi-lingual content, promote brands, integrate with all social platforms, and gather real-time audience and participation data.

In 2018, Smith returned to Teradici Corporation as CEO. David served in this role until October 2021, when they were appointed as the company's General Manager.

David Smith pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a focus in finance and marketing from McGill University. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Science - BS in mechanical engineering from the University of New Brunswick. David Smith's educational career began in high school where they attended Fredericton High School.
