Mohamed ZEIN

Mohamed ZEIN has over 10 years of experience in the IT industry. Mohamed began their career in 2011 as a Trainee in the Technology Department at Vodafone. Mohamed then moved to Minufiya University as a Part-time Project Manager and Virtualization Specialist, where they were responsible for a project to reconstruct the faculty's network infrastructure and convert the physical infrastructure of the servers room to a virtualized environment. In 2012, they joined EMC Corporation as a Global Technical Support Engineer. In 2014, they worked as a Systems Engineer at Salam Technology and as an EMC Systems Engineer/Account Manager at Al-Jammaz Distribution. In 2015, they joined Redington Gulf as the Presales & Product Manager for Hyper-Converged Infrastructure in East & North Africa, where they drove all presales initiatives and contributed to the successful closure of some of the first HCI deals. In 2018, they became the Chief Operating Officer at Teradix, a cloud-based procurement software, where they helped businesses manage their entire spend. Finally, they are the Founder and Managing Director of Cloud Weekend, the biggest and most exclusive gathering of CIOs, Senior IT Executives and Business Leaders in Egypt.

Mohamed ZEIN's education history includes a Bachelor's Degree in Electronics and Electrical Communications Engineering from Minufiya University from 2007 to 2012, as well as a course in Innovation Management and Technology Entrepreneurship from the Institute of International Education in 2011. Additionally, they hold certifications from VMware, Nutanix, VCE, EMC, EXIN, and Rackspace, which were obtained between 2012 and 2015.
