Sam Rosen has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Starting with Intel in 1995 as a Design Engineer, they worked on DFT implementation and tool flow for large-scale projects. Later, they became a Principal DSP Architect at Lexra, where they focused on designing licensable technology products and managing vendor relationships. Sam then joined various wireless semiconductor companies as a Principal Engineer, architecting and designing multiple semiconductor products targeted towards the wireless market. Sam went on to become the Manager of Field Applications and Marketing at Faraday, leading the expansion of the business in the US. Sam also worked at Ambric as a Field Applications Engineer.
In 2010, Sam joined ABI Research as the Vice President of Consumer, leading a team that delivered strategic advice on transformative technologies to C-level executives. Sam was responsible for market studies, competitive assessments, custom projects, and managing a team that produced over 500 research pieces.
After that, Sam worked at Nuance as a Senior Director of Corporate Business Development, where they participated in long-term strategy development, organizational alignment, and portfolio review.
Recently, they have been working at Teradyne since 2019, where they started as a Marketing Strategist, managing a multi-year digital product portfolio and leading cross-functional teams. Sam then became the Director of Regulatory Strategy, developing and executing a cohesive regulatory strategy, managing teams responsible for internal controls and government licensing, and overseeing Teradyne's response to industry regulations. Additionally, they engaged with US government agencies to drive regulatory policy and implementation. Outside of their full-time work, Sam also served as a Startup Mentor at MassChallenge.
Sam Rosen has a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis, which they obtained from 1992 to 1995. Sam later pursued a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University, completing it from 1995 to 1999. Additionally, they obtained an MBA from W. P. Carey School of Business - Arizona State University, specializing in the Executive MBA Platform, from 2009 to 2011. Sam Rosen also attended Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology from 1987 to 1991.
