David Hosey

David Hosey serves as the Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at Teranet Inc. since March 2025, following a tenure as Head of Information Security & Technical Services at 407 ETR from April 2023 to March 2025. Hosey has extensive experience in cybersecurity leadership, previously holding senior roles at the Investment Management Corporation of Ontario (IMCO) and OPTrust, where David managed significant budgets and implemented security frameworks. As a co-founder and Chief Information Officer at Betterworth, Hosey developed an AI-based behavioral profile for the financial industry. Hosey's early career included diverse roles at Manulife, Scotiabank, and IBM, consistently focusing on IT strategy, operations, and service delivery. Hosey holds an MBA from Wilfrid Laurier University and an Innovative Technology Leader Program certificate from Stanford University.
