Bingbing Li is a Professor and Director of the Laboratory for Smart and Additive Manufacturing in the Department of Manufacturing Systems Engineering and Management at California State University, Northridge, where employment has begun in August 2014. Additional roles include Associate Director for Convergence Research at CSUN_ARCS, Co-Director of the DOE Industrial Training and Assessment Center at UC Irvine and CSUN, and Affiliate Faculty at Terasaki Institute for Biomedical Innovation. A recent Visiting Associate Professor at the National University of Singapore, Bingbing Li completed a Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering at Texas Tech University in May 2012 and has held prior positions as an Instructor and Post-Doctoral Research Associate.
