Melike Erol-Kantarci

Melike Erol-Kantarci is a seasoned academic and industry professional, currently serving as a Strategic Product Manager for AI in RAN and Chief Cloud RAN AI/ML Data Scientist at Ericsson since January 2022. Additionally, Melike is an R&D Council Member at the Kanata North Business Association and a Full Professor at the University of Ottawa, where a Canada Research Chair (Tier 2) position is held in AI-Enabled Next Generation Wireless Networks. Research interests include 5G, 6G, AI-enabled networking, smart grid, connected autonomous electric vehicles, and the Internet of Things. Past roles include faculty positions at Clarkson University and the University of Ottawa, along with postdoctoral research at the University of Ottawa and a visiting researcher role at UCLA. Melike also contributes to the IEEE Ottawa Section as WIE Vice-Chair and is affiliated with the Vector Institute.
