Neda Mohaghegh is an accomplished researcher and chemist with extensive experience in drug design and synthesis. Currently employed at the Terasaki Institute for Biomedical Innovation since April 2022, Neda leads efforts in the design and chemical synthesis of novel compounds, focusing on optimizing their therapeutic effects, and conducts Structure-Activity Relationship (SAR) analyses. Prior to this role, Neda served as an analytical senior scientist at Canymes Industrial and Engineering Technical Services Company, where project management and the development of point-of-care applications were key responsibilities. Neda has also worked as a scientist in protein biochemistry at Hokkaido University, specializing in protein expression and purification, and gained research experience at the Abdus Salam International Centre for Theoretical Physics. Neda holds a PhD in Chemistry, a Master’s Degree in Physical Chemistry, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, all obtained from Sharif University of Technology.
