Tyler Alvarado has had a varied work experience since 2008. In 2009 and 2008, they worked as a Summer Hire Laborer for the 435th Services Squadron. In 2010, they worked as a Furniture Sales Associate for The Exchange, a General Laborer for Heartland Construction, and a Summer Hire Laborer for the 435th Services Squadron. From 2014 to 2018, they worked at Colorado State University in various roles, including Library Technician, Student Technician, and Helpdesk Assistant. Since 2020, they have been a DevOps Engineer for Teren, Inc., where they administer and deploys core cloud architecture, software, and services for company operations, designs and implements Kubernetes cloud solutions to support various enterprise applications for developers through a CI/CD pipeline, and uses Infrastructure as code methodologies, such as Terraform, to deploy and maintain infrastructure both locally and in cloud environments.

Tyler Alvarado received a High School Diploma from Ramstein American High School in 2011, followed by an Associate's degree from Southwestern Illinois College in 2012. Tyler then went on to receive their Bachelor's Degrees in American History and Political Science from Colorado State University in 2015.
