Neil Rooney

Neil Rooney is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in design and project management across various industries. Currently serving as Engineering Manager at Terex Corporation since September 2015, Neil leads the engineering efforts for the Terex washing systems range and has previously held key roles such as Lead Design Engineer and Senior Design & Project Engineer, focusing on specialized machinery for the minerals washing industry. Prior to Terex, Neil contributed as a Mechanical Design Engineer at Mallaghan Engineering Ltd, designing aircraft ground handling equipment, and as a Project Engineer at Kiverco Ltd, where responsibilities included the design and management of recycling plants. Earlier experience includes a Compliance Engineer role at Caterpillar Inc. and a Lead Design Engineer position at Specialist Welding Services. Neil holds a Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Ulster University, attained in 2004.
