Jorge A. Niño

Jorge A. Niño has been working in the software engineering field since 2017. In that year, they began as an Information System Intern at Huevocartoon, where they developed Python scripts to automate the installation of Linux and learned about GUI development. In 2018, they worked as a Computer Science Intern at GE Aviation, developing an inventory system to keep track of raw material and machines. In 2019, they held three roles: Co-Founder & Chief Financial Officer (CFO) & Full-stack Software Developer at Percept, Information Technology Analyst (IT Analyst) at Natgas México, and Founder & Full-stack Software Developer at MedAura. At Percept, they were responsible for sales of more than 1.5 million Mexican pesos with a net margin of 17%. At Natgas México, they participated in the development of Natgas Pricing, a system to track Natural Gas Price in order to calculate the correct price to sell Vehicular Natural Gas to obtain profits in different Natgas stations in Mexico. At MedAura, they developed a software as a service to manage clinical records and integrated Stripe to accept payments for subscriptions. In 2020, they worked as a Software Engineer II at Wizeline, developing and giving maintenance to several microservices for a company that builds products for the education sector in the US. This year, they are working as a Senior Software Engineer at Prenuvo, a Backend Developer at Arteria AI, and a Senior Software Engineer at Terminal.

Jorge A. Niño completed a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Computer Science at Tecnológico de Monterrey from 2016 to 2020. In 2021, they attended Wizeline Academy's Go Bootcamp. From 2012 to 2015, they attended Tecnológico de Monterrey's Bilingual High School. Additionally, Niño has obtained various certifications from Udemy and DataCamp since 2019, including React - The Complete Guide (incl Hooks, React Router, Redux) in 2023, Ethereum and Solidity in 2022, and The Complete Android Kotlin Developer Course in 2019.
