Sergio Baquero

Sergio Baquero has been working in the tech industry since 2015. Sergio began their career as the Director Fundador of Bee Smart SAS, where they designed and programmed mobile applications and specialized software written in JAVA, MySQL, PHP, JavaScript, SWIFT, Android, Node.js, and MongoDB. Sergio also managed Apache, Apache Tomcat, SQL, SMTP, and Linux servers. In 2017, they took on a role as a Java Senior Software Developer at Grupo ASD, where they were responsible for team management, architecture design, and the development of web services, Android applications, and Stand Alone artifacts. In 2018, they moved to Prodigious Latin America as a Senior Software Engineer. In 2019, they joined PayU as a Senior Software Engineer, where they were responsible for Java/Kotlin/AngularJS development, developing web services, microservices, Front End and Back End development, and checking project architecture implementation and good practices. In 2020, they joined S4N as a Back End Developer, where they contributed to the design and implementation of new functionalities. Sergio currently works as a Full Stack Engineer for both Seso Inc. and Terminal, where they design and implements UI components, REST services, data management migrations procedures, and contributes to the communication between Product and Engineering areas.

Sergio Baquero has a degree in Business Administration and Management, General from ThePower Business School, which they obtained between 2019 and 2020. Sergio also holds an Ingeniero Mecatrónico degree from Universidad Nacional de Colombia, which they obtained between 2009 and 2014. Additionally, Sergio has obtained certifications from Udemy in Docker for Java Developers, UX & Design Thinking, and Kotlin for Java Developers, which they obtained in 2020, 2020, and 2019 respectively.
