Fuat Ulugay

Fuat Ulugay has a diverse and extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Starting in 2000, they worked as a CRM Analyst at Başarı. From 2003 to 2006, they served as an Abap Developer at MBIS, gaining expertise in smartforms, report programming, dialog programming, and user exits. From 2007 to 2010, they worked at Sony as a CRM Functional Designer & Developer, where they created webshops and implemented customization and translation.

From 2010 to 2012, Ulugay worked as an IT Director at Bezmi Alem University, successfully implementing the hospital information system and managing application support and development teams. Fuat then joined SOCAR Türkiye as an IT Director, where they implemented security systems and published informative books on Puppet and IT security testing.

In 2016, Ulugay became the Software Engineering Manager and Managing Partner at Monitor Software Development & Security Consulting, leading software development teams and completing projects using Django, RabbitMQ, MySQL, and PostgreSQL. In 2017, they became the Software Engineering Manager at SkyAtlas, where they managed IT developments and trained the software engineering team.

From 2018 to 2021, Ulugay served as the Site Reliability Engineering Manager at Trilogy and also worked as a Consultant at Monitor Consulting OU, specializing in DevOps, AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, and Docker.

Their most recent role is as a Site Reliability Engineer, DevOps Architect, Cloud Architect, and VP at Terminus Capital Partners, starting in 2021.

Throughout their career, Ulugay has gained extensive experience in software development, IT management, DevOps, cloud architecture, and site reliability engineering.

Fuat Ulugay completed their Bachelor's degree in Management from Orta Doğu Teknik Üniversitesi (Middle East Technical University) from 1996 to 2000. Prior to that, they attended Maltepe Military High School from 1990 to 1994, specializing in Mathematics. Fuat Ulugay has also obtained several certifications throughout their career, including the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) in 2016 and various certifications in cloud computing and programming languages from institutions such as LinkedIn and A Cloud Guru. Fuat is also certified in English and German language proficiency.
